Sourcing & Advisory

Some clients tell us the bottle. Most tell us the moment. Either way, the work is the same: find something extraordinary, confirm it is genuine, and get it without you spending months learning where to look.

Some people know the bottle. Some know only the occasion.

  • "I know exactly what I want."

A birth-year single cask. A discontinued expression you have been chasing for years. The one bottle missing from a set. Tell me what it is and I will tell you honestly whether it can be found, what it should cost, and how long it will take.

  • "I know the occasion, not the bottle."

A 60th. A retirement. A thank-you that needs to mean something. You do not need to know anything about whisky, that is the point of calling me. I will ask about the person and the moment, and come back with a shortlist worth your time.

What we can find

  • Birth-year and vintage bottlings, including single cask

  • Discontinued and out-of-production expressions

  • Allocated releases, ahead of public availability

  • Independent bottlings and single-cask releases

  • Bottles at auction, bid and authenticated on your behalf

Pricing

I am not a broker of a better price. I am an expert in locating the right bottle.

Every bottle is priced individually on rarity, condition, provenance and demand. You receive one quoted price, with no hidden margin. Rare and collector-tier bottles are priced on application.

The bottle is the gift. The moment it is given is the point.

A rare bottle handed over in a bag is just an expensive bottle. Nobody in the room knows the distillery closed in 1983, or that the cask no longer exists, or why this one and not another. Where it matters, I am there to say so.

Available on bottles sourced through me from $2,000.
