For private clients
Getting started
You tell me the occasion or the bottle, I find it, and I quote you one price. I am not a shopfront and I do not work to anyone else's sales targets. The recommendation is the whole product.
Sourcing
Priced individually on rarity, condition, provenance and demand. One quoted price, no hidden margin. Rare and collector-tier priced on application.
The expertise is in locating the right bottle. The price is what the price is.
Sometimes faster than you would expect, sometimes months for something genuinely rare. Say the timeframe you need and I will tell you straight away whether it is realistic.
Yes, bid and authenticated.
Working together
Yes. Where it matters, I can introduce the bottle on the night. See The Presentation at /services/presentation.
Tastings
Tasting proposals spell out what is included — typically the hosted experience, curated pours and supporting materials.
Venue hire, catering or travel may be separate depending on the booking. Nothing is assumed until it is written in the proposal.
We can host in suitable private homes, workplaces and partner venues, subject to licensing and logistics.
Virtual tastings are also available when guests are in different locations.
Delivery
Hand delivery within Melbourne. Interstate arranged case by case.
Alcohol delivery requires an adult signature, cannot go to a PO box, and some interstate carriers have restrictions.

Working together
As early as you can. For end-of-calendar-year gifting, book by September so selection, packaging and delivery have room to run properly.
Tastings and fundraisers are quoted to the date and guest count — the more notice, the better the line-up.
Yes, though it depends on the bottle and the timeframe. Worth telling us early.
It comes up on almost every corporate list, and it is easiest to solve at the start rather than at delivery. Tell us early and we will work around it.
Where a bottle is not appropriate, we substitute within the same house: a decanter, crystal tumblers or a glassware set, or a collectible whisky book. Same tier, same packaging, same written note. Nothing that reads as a consolation prize.
Where nothing physical is appropriate, a donation to a charity in the recipient's name is often the right answer. Most gift policies permit it where they prohibit gifts.
What we will not do is send a bottle to a home address to get around a workplace policy. Most policies cover gifts received in a professional capacity wherever they are delivered, and we are not going to put your recipient in that position.
Alcohol delivery requires an adult signature, cannot go to a PO box, and some interstate carriers have restrictions.
Yes, depending on the booking.
Available most days. Friday evenings and Saturday daytime are the exceptions.
Tastings
Six for Discovery, four for Reserve.
Yes. We ship a numbered sample set and tasting mat to each participant, then host the session live. Same whiskies, same conversation, wherever everyone is sitting. See virtual tastings under Corporate Whisky Tastings.
Payments
Yes. Payment terms are seven days.
Yes. Purchase orders, vendor forms and approval paperwork can be handled as part of the engagement — tell us what you need at the start.
