Fundraisers & Group Events
Whisky raises money. It also gets people in the room, and keeps them there.
Four years running. Over $377,000 raised.

Who this is for
Charity fundraisers and community organisations
School and club reunions
Sporting clubs and member associations
Committee-run events of any kind
Four formats
Auction lots, sourced and written up
Rare and allocated bottles sourced specifically as lots, with the provenance written up so whoever is running the room can sell them properly. A bottle nobody can explain sells for a fraction of what it is worth.
Auction the experience, not the bottle
A private tasting for eight, hosted by Joshua, at the winner's home. It photographs well in the auction catalogue, it costs the committee nothing, and it consistently outperforms a single bottle at auction.
A tasting worked into the program
A guided tasting as part of the event, a reason to arrive early, and something for people to talk about between courses. Often underwritten by a single donor as their contribution.
Event curation
The whisky side of the event, planned end to end: what is poured, what goes under the hammer, what is said and when.
The organiser credential
I do not just supply fundraisers. I run one, an annual whisky event now in its fourth year. I know what it is like to chase a committee for a decision, to worry whether the room will fill, and to need the event to work.
