Matured in sherry casks: dried fruit, dark chocolate, spice and depth. Macallan, GlenDronach, Aberlour territory.

A smoky, maritime character built on peat: campfire, brine, sometimes medicinal. Laphroaig, Ardbeg, Lagavulin territory.

Lighter and brighter: orchard fruit, honey, floral top notes. Glenkinchie, Auchentoshan and easier-drinking Speyside malts.

Whiskies that push past the expected: unusual finishes, high strength, styles you will not find on a standard shelf. For collectors chasing something new.
